Verify your download

SimpleFixAI is a public beta and is not yet code-signed. The first time you run the installer, Windows may show a blue box that says “Windows protected your PC” and call SimpleFixAI an unrecognized app from an unknown publisher. This is expected. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen has simply not built up a reputation for the app yet. To continue, click “More info” and then “Run anyway.”

To confirm the file is genuinely ours, open PowerShell in the folder where you saved it and run:

Get-FileHash .\SimpleFixAI_1.7.41_x64-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Use the version you downloaded in the file name, then compare the result against the value we publish, and only run the file if they match. See the published checksums.

Only download SimpleFixAI from get.simplefixai.com. If you found it on another site, verify the checksum before running it. Please do not turn off SmartScreen, Windows Defender, or any other security feature to install. Verify the checksum instead.

Known issues

  • First launch shows a SmartScreen warning. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows flags it once. See Verify your download above for what to expect and how to check the file.
  • Graphics acceleration is off when the app runs as administrator. The optional NVIDIA acceleration pack stays off whenever SimpleFixAI is started as administrator. This is a deliberate safety boundary, not a fault. Start the app normally to use it, and a future release will remove the restriction.
  • Something else? We list every fix and change, newest first, in the changelog. If what you hit is not there, email us and we will look.

Send feedback

SimpleFixAI is in public beta and grows from real reports. If a fix did not work, or you wish it did something it does not, tell us at support@simplefixai.com. You can also use the contact form. That feedback is what turns into the next repair.
