Put DNS back the way it was

A release that adds one new repair, putting a network adapter's DNS back to automatic, and makes the app more honest about what it fixed, what it measured, and how old its readings are.

• Ask the app to put your DNS back to automatic (the router-assigned setting) and it does so as its own repair with its own snapshot and undo. It refuses on a PC managed by a workplace, a VPN or a policy, and it suggests the change on its own only when hand-set DNS is actually failing, never to undo a working provider you chose. • The 'what do you know about my PC' summary now covers your network, privacy and performance settings, shows 'not measured' instead of a reassuring zero for anything it could not read, says how old a reading is when it came from an earlier check, and never reports a service as recovered when the check that reads services failed.
• Repairs that stop a Windows service now record whether the service came back and report themselves as partly done when it did not. A security repair claims improvement only when it could read the new state. Undoing a repair restarts a service that was running before it. The Office and WebView2 installers are never interrupted if they run long.
• A plain question about what is using your CPU or memory gets the direct answer, and a repair scan starts only when your message describes an actual problem. Questions about undoing a repair are answered first, and a complaint that a device has vanished goes straight to that device's repairs.
• Exported reports use the SimpleFixAI colors, Dashboard tiles show when they were last read, the AI Predictions widget keeps a critical warning ahead of an all-good message, and the background monitor's summary counts only repairs that actually succeeded.
