Updates on your schedule
Ask SimpleFixAI about Windows Update scheduling, or have it set your Active Hours, pause or resume updates, and defer feature or quality updates, each with one-click undo and only after you approve. Plus a handful of chat fixes: describing a problem again re-checks it instead of running a waiting repair, read-only questions are answered while a repair waits without repeating it, and device and program answers are more accurate and honest.
- Ask SimpleFixAI about Windows Update scheduling, or have it change it with your approval. It can report and manage your Active Hours, pause or resume updates, and defer feature or quality updates, each with verified one-click undo. A pause is reported as successful only after Windows confirms the exact pause window that took effect. Updates controlled by a workplace policy stay read-only, and a metered connection is read-only too, with a link straight to the matching Windows Settings page.
- When a repair is waiting for your approval and you describe a problem again in a few words, such as 'my startup programs are still slow', the app now re-checks that problem instead of mistaking your words for approval to run the repair. You still approve every repair yourself.
- Asking a read-only question while a repair is waiting for approval, like your specs, which services are stopped, which devices have problems, or your repair history, now simply answers the question. It no longer repeats the pending repair in the reply, and that repair is still waiting for you when you are ready.
- When the app asks which list of scan details you want to see, answering with more than one number, like '1 and 3', now shows each of those lists, and naming a category it did not offer asks again instead of starting anything.
- Asking about a camera that is not working now runs a read-only device check rather than only listing your cameras, lists of connected devices no longer show the same device twice, and the list of installed programs tells you honestly when Windows could not read part of it instead of showing a partial list as if it were complete.
