Ask what you have

Ask the chat what programs are installed and what hardware you have, from your monitors and cameras to every graphics card, drive, and how much space is free, all read-only. Network answers now include your connection speed, a question about several device types at once lists all of them, and answering which list of details you want to see never starts a repair you did not approve.

• You can ask the chat what programs are installed on your PC. Ask 'what programs do I have installed' and it lists them, read from Windows' own program list, without changing anything.
• Ask the chat about your hardware or desk setup. 'What hardware do I have' or 'everything connected to my PC' now lists your monitors with make, model, and size, plus your cameras, graphics, disks, and how much space is free on each drive.
• Network detail answers now include your connection speed, and asking about several device types at once, like 'my audio devices and USB controllers', lists all of them instead of only the first.
• When the chat asks which list of scan details you want to see, answering with one of the offered options always shows that list and never starts a repair you did not approve. A plain 'yes' still confirms a pending repair as before, and this now works correctly even when only one list of details is available.
