Reliability and clarity

Reliability, honesty, and clarity: undoing a Windows settings change now works on the installed app, background update checks recover more gracefully after a network hiccup, you can ask chat to list the details behind a finding, and your repair History shows more of your recent repairs.

• Ask chat to list the items behind a scan finding. When a scan reports something like '21 hosts file entries', you can now say 'list them' and see the actual entries. This is read-only: it shows you what was already found and never makes a change on its own.
• Undoing a Windows settings change now works on the installed app. On the shipped build the one-click undo for a change you made by asking now re-runs correctly instead of silently failing, so every settings change is reversible from History as promised.
• When the app changes certain Windows personalization settings while running as administrator, it now tells you honestly that it cannot confirm the change took effect from that window, instead of reporting a success it cannot verify. The change is still applied and undo is still available.
• Describing a USB storage device that will not start now checks your devices and names the real fault, instead of scanning the disk and reporting that nothing is wrong.
• Your repair History now shows up to your 100 most recent repairs instead of only the last 10, with a clear note when the list is showing the latest 100.
• In technician mode, the client list used to filter CSV export now covers every client in the exported range and matches client names regardless of capitalization, so a client's repairs can always be found and exported.
• Background update checks recover on their own after a network hiccup. Slow connections get progressively more time, retries are spaced out so a fleet of PCs does not all retry at the same instant, and a check that does not get through quietly tries again later in the same session instead of waiting for the next scheduled check.
• Behind the scenes, the parallel test suite no longer flakes on the snapshot backup tests, so the nightly checks give a cleaner signal.
