v1.7.16July 2026
Undo integrity
Undo reports honestly on every layer, failed undos can be retried, and no false all-clear from security or recovery checks.
- Undo now reports honestly on every layer it touches, not just the registry. Restarted services, renamed folders, and restored power plans are each checked, and the app compares the restored settings against the snapshot, so an undo that claimed success but changed nothing is caught. A failed undo is no longer a dead end. The repair stays in your history as not undone, and History offers to retry it
- No false all-clear from the security and recovery checks, in any Windows language. Defender, firewall, and BitLocker report a definite state only when the check actually returned one, BitLocker is read per drive, and the recovery check no longer misreads non-English Windows as having recovery turned off. Anything that cannot be confirmed now reads as not checked instead of protected or healthy
- SSD protection is now complete. The app reads the drive type for the actual Windows volume instead of the first disk it finds, and when the type cannot be confirmed it uses the solid-state-safe option. A drive is only defragmented once it is confirmed to be a conventional hard disk
- Destructive repairs verify their backup before changing anything. Clearing event logs, repairing the hosts file, or rolling back a Windows Update setting each writes its backup to a fresh location and confirms it is valid first. If the backup cannot be confirmed, the repair stops and reports that nothing was changed
