• Faster to a real answer on 8 GB PCs. The first AI summary of a session now waits for the assistant to finish loading instead of giving up early and dropping to a basic read, and if loading runs long it tells you the assistant is warming up rather than going quiet
• Calmer update checks. Checking for a new version is more patient on slow or busy networks, and a check that recovers on its own is no longer reported as an error
